Rollins explained that his problems with Punk come from feeling betrayed. He talked about their 20-year history, saying he once looked up to Punk as a hero. Rollins admired Punk’s style and honesty and even trained with him.
Even though they have issues, Rollins still hopes to make peace with Punk. “I just don’t buy it,” said Rollins. “And I think even if it’s true, even if everything that he’s doing is not a show and he is a changed man and he’s a better person than he was when he left.”
