CM Punk’s Health in Question After Hell In A Cell Win At Bad Blood

Fans were thrilled after the horrific opening match at Bad Blood. This kind of fight needed an epic finish, and that’s what it got. Many called it the WWE Match of the Year, believing nothing could top it.

Even Drew McIntyre’s fans were pleased despite their superstar losing to CM Punk. However, the aftermath was more dramatic since the 45-year-old caused many people to be concerned about his health.

After a fierce fight inside Hell in a Cell, CM Punk officially won his first feud since returning to WWE in November. The Scottish Warrior had most of the control in the match, but his overconfidence ultimately hurt him.

The Sin City Saint put a chain around his knee and hit him with a crushing GTS to win the match and end the feud. But after the match, Punk fell down while walking away from the ramp.

Officials Daphanie LaShaunn and Shawn Bennett, along with Raw GM Adam Pearce and medical staff, rushed to help him, assuming something serious.

Though Punk removed the oxygen mask and tried to stand on his own to say he is okay, everyone knows that he faced not just physical pain but also the mental toll from the brutal battle with McIntyre.

CM Punk calls for his wife while getting oxygen

The start of Bad Blood was amazing because of Drew McIntyre and CM Punk’s outstanding fight. Even though many people were excited about the Bloodline’s match, Punk and McIntyre’s battle was very emotional and personal, especially when McIntyre took Punk’s bracelet with his family’s names on it.

After winning, Punk celebrated but then collapsed outside the cell. Medical staff gave him oxygen to help him recover. During the chaos, Punk asked them to call his wife, AJ Lee, while he had an oxygen mask on his face. Punk’s ‘wifu’ moment got the attention of many, thanks to the Scottish Warrior, who actually brought the family matters into the feud.
