Today’s Friday Night SmackDown aired live from Oklahoma City, Oklahoma’s Paycom Center. This episode built excitement for the upcoming event, Bad Blood, in Atlanta. It was all about the top talents, including Cody Rhodes, Randy Orton, Kevin Owens, and The Bloodline. However, fans were pissed off by the match’s abrupt conclusion.
Cody Rhodes wasn’t supposed to be there, but he got in the way of The Bloodline’s match against Randy Orton and Kevin Owens. To start the match, Owens used a senton to hit Fatu. Solo Sikoa tagged in, taking down Owens, while Orton later entered the ring.
Owens hit Solo with a Swanton Bomb, which almost knocked him out, but The Tongans rushed the ring and caused chaos. Then Cody Rhodes showed up against the Bloodline, leading to a brawl outside.
In the end, Owens hit Solo with a stunner and went for the cover, but Jacob tossed Cody into the referee. This accidental interference cost Owens and Orton the win, allowing The Bloodline to secure a surprising victory.
WWE fans weigh in on Cody Rhodes’ unexpected disruption
Fans found Cody Rhodes’ entrance entertaining, but they didn’t expect the match to end in the Bloodline’s favor. While many praised WWE for these creative twists, some fans were frustrated with Rhodes since Randy Orton and Kevin Owens were so close to winning.
@JosephDEvans expressed curiosity about Cody’s role, saying, “Interested in the long-term implications of Cody’s presence here. Definitely don’t think KO will let this go so easily!” Some fans, like @FazeRugVibes, found it entertaining, writing, “THIS STORYLINE IS CINEMA TRIPLE H IS COOKING.”
@MaliknazK noted, “I am enjoying this match.” Meanwhile, @FazeRugVibes pointed out KO’s frustration with Cody, noting, “KEVIN OWENS IS SO FED UP WITH CODY RHODES!”
