Cody Rhodes Hospitalized Following Kevin Owens Forbidden Piledriver at SNME

The Saturday Night Main Event was full of surprises. The intensity of the event increased after Cody Rhodes won and successfully defended his championship, but Kevin Owens continued to attack him.

Owens, like Randy Orton, used a banned piledriver on Rhodes again, causing severe injuries and sending him to the hospital. Cody’s injury update is now available.

After Kevin Owens attacked Cody Rhodes, he was taken off the stage on a stretcher and rushed to the hospital. WWE officials said Rhodes had a cervical spine injury, but X-rays showed no fractures.

Triple H later came out to confront Owens after the fight, who had once helped him win a championship from Finn Balor. It’s interesting to observe how their friendship shifted when Cody Rhodes became involved.

Sadly, Rhodes will be sidelined for an unknown time to recover.

When will Cody Rhodes return?

Cody Rhodes is currently out with an injury that falls into a similar condition to Randy Orton. WWE hasn’t given a clear update on when he can return, but many fans are guessing he might come back for RAW’s Netflix debut, which WWE is making a big deal about.

So, a possible showdown between Cody and Kevin Owens would be exciting for the January 6 event, and to make it feel more intense, this break was required. But hopefully, it won’t take long to recover like “the Viper.” If Cody returns for the Netflix debut, we could see him back around three weeks from now.
