WrestleMania has hosted some of the biggest moments in WWE history, from epic title wins to heartbreaking losses. Every fan has that one Mania moment they cherish the most.
For current WWE fans, WrestleMania 40 stands out, especially with Cody Rhodes winning the championship in a thrilling main event. However, when Cody was recently asked about his favorite WrestleMania moment, he surprised everyone by going back to 1991.
WWE Undisputed Champion recently shared his all-time favorite WrestleMania moment during a Q&A session on WWE’s YouTube channel. In a surprising choice, Rhodes named the emotional match between The Ultimate Warrior and Randy Savage from WrestleMania 7 as his top moment.
Cody Rhodes said, “I will be the only one who gives you this answer but it’s Ultimate Warrior vs. Randy Savage, career ending match in Los Angeles and Miss Elizabeth comes down to the ring. She went to open the ropes and he opened the ropes for her. Everything he did got a reaction. I could watch that moment on repeat for every day of my life and be happy.”
However, as WrestleMania 41 approaches, Cody is set to headline again, but some fans are unhappy with him as champion. Many predict he might lose the title before then, meaning the anticipated Cody vs. Roman match may not happen. If that’s the case, Bully Ray has an exciting alternative in mind.
Wrestling veteran predicts shocking Cody Rhodes WrestleMania opponent
WWE stars Cody Rhodes and Roman Reigns have been in the main event of the last two WrestleManias, and fans are wondering if they’ll face off again. But wrestling legend Bully Ray thinks there could be different opponents if Cody vs. Reigns III doesn’t happen.
On the Busted Open podcast, he talked about fan ideas and shared his thoughts on possible matches for WrestleMania 41 in Las Vegas. Ray said, “If I were to agree with some people’s opinion that Cody Roman III would be too soon for ‘Mania, and somebody asked me, ‘Well, what’s your opinion? What do we go with?’ Roman and Solo for The Head of The Table, Cody Jacob Fatu.”
