Conor McGregor pushes hard for UFC 300 comeback while pulling himself into new controversy

Conor McGregor recently shared updates on his workout, pushing hard in the gym to get back in shape. Fans anticipate that his next UFC bout may take place in the next 4-6 months. However, as of now, no official announcement has been made regarding the UFC star’s next fight.

However, rumors suggest McGregor will be returning next year. Earlier this year, Michael Chandler was announced as his opponent, but Michael didn’t look happy with McGregor’s delay as their bout was expected to take place at the year’s end.

Conor McGregor pushes hard for UFC 300 return

Conor McGregor has already made his comeback to the USADA test pool and waiting to announce his availability. The opponent for McGregor’s return fight is almost decided, but the dates have not been officially disclosed to the media. Fans and experts anticipate that Dana White is planning to feature his biggest superstar in UFC 300, scheduled for April 14th, 2024.

According to Conor McGregor’s manager, Audie Attar, the team is pushing hard to get their star fighter back into the action against Chandler. When asked if the former two-division champion would be returning at UFC 300, Audie said, “UFC 300 would be amazing, and we are pushing as hard as we can to make that happen.”

When asked whether they are thinking of any opponent other than Chandler like Nate Diaz, Attar said, “Conor wants that trilogy with Nate Diaz to happen, and it’s going to happen. There’s the Dustin Poirier rematch as well, a bunch of different fights that exist and are a great possibility. But ultimately, you can’t say it’s not a possibility. But a lot of things have to happen before it’s even a conversation,” via Pinkvilla.

Nate Diaz and Conor are currently 1-1 in their previous two encounters. This time, the hype is even higher than in their earlier fights, as Nate has yet to join the UFC, and McGregor hasn’t been in the octagon for more than two years now.

Conor McGregor gets into a new controversy

‘The Notorious’ is once again making headlines for his non-MMA controversy, this time targeting Scott Moore. Recently, McGregor got himself in trouble for making controversial statements about the Irish government, and now once again, he may be getting himself into another controversy.

Making racist comments in his rap, Mystic Mac talked about the color of Scott and many more things. The rap lyrics from the UFC star were, “Look at you, little freak. Putting in your little ugly red boiled nose in from across the border. Stay out of your politics it’s got nothing to do with you. You’re a weirdo bro, you’re not well. Tell your father on that border I said his son is not well. Get help, go to a f****ng doctor or something,”

The former lightweight champion continued, “Would I wear it now? No. I am upset I wore it then? No. First of all chill lad, you’re bleeding from your head. Your nose is akin to a clown. I respond back to you and you pull out a medical sheet. You’re a little orange cunt from across the border, piss off mate. God bless.” This time Conor boasted about beating the rapper in his style, via The Mirror.

To all the unexpected words Moorey recently responded with, “He insulted my skin, calling me scabby or whatever. And he insulted me like, because I had a battle rapper in the bio, I do rap battles. It ended up getting to the point where he was insulting me… He wasn’t rapping, he was just insulting me… that offer [rap battle] still stands.”

Now things might get ugly, as Scott clarified in one of his interviews that he was expecting a happy rap battle with the former UFC champion Conor McGregor. Whose side are you on: Conor McGregor, who went hard with words, or Scott Moorey, who clarified expecting a happy battle with one of the biggest sports personalities?
