After The Ultimate Fighter concludes, Conor McGregor is scheduled to fight Michael Chandler inside the octagon. Nonetheless, to many, it would appear that the Irishman’s objective is to ensure that the fight does not take place, as he consistently violates the regulations set forth by USADA by not being enrolled in the testing pool.

As the Irish superstar hasn’t fought in almost two years due to a leg injury sustained in his most recent bout against Dustin Poirier at UFC 264 in 2021, he has opted out of participating in doping tests. USADA has stated that the lightweight fighter is ineligible to participate in his fight against Chandler unless he re-enrolls and exhibits clean results at least twice in the next six months.
After Conor McGregor said to Ariel Helwani all is good with USADA and a pair of clean drug tests makes him eligible to fight, Anti-Doping Agency made a clear statement that Conor should be in the testing pool for the full six-month period 👀

It is mandated by the rules that a fighter must have been in the pool for at least six months before a bout . Hence, The Notorious will need to immediately sign up for the pool if he wants to fight Chandler bout in September.
Conor doesn’t appear to have any intention of complying with the rule, as seen by a recent tweet in which he sang a song taking a jab at USADA.
“Oh USADA, oh USADA. You come and you give without taking. But I sent you away oh USADA. You are in the bin.” Conor sang.

The former two-division champion also shared his thoughts on not taking part in the system as be believes he is clean. In a deleted tweet he mocked the whole process of USADA.
“This is my issue. I’ve not lied once. Nor have I tested positive. I have over 70 clean tests under this program, yet they are consistently coming out after I speak in a manner that makes it seem I am lying. It’s ridiculous. F*** USADA.” Conor added.
Conor’s next octagon opponent Chandler also voiced his concerns regarding the issue. The American fighter also hopes that McGregor should hop in the pool otherwise the bout scheduled to happen in September will be jeopardy.
