Cristiano Ronaldo claps back at juveniles “Messi is better” rant in the tunnel as Al-Nassr mounts stunning comeback vs Al-Batin

Cristiano Ronaldo replied in a feisty way to a young fan’s comment. This came after a sensational comeback from his team Al Nassr in a 3-1 victory against Al Battin.

Cristiano Ronaldo failed to score or assist in their 3-1 comeback win. At halftime, a young fan decided to mock the legend when he was storming to the dressing room in the tunnel by saying, “Messi is better.”

The Al-Nassr star ignored a heckle from a kid while going in 1-0 down at halftime in the match.

Ronaldo, however, couldn’t care less about the comment and instead spoke about the game. He quickly replied back loudly in Portuguese, “Easy game, f*** easy game.” He was visibly frustrated as he made the comment.

Al Nassr had a tough game, with them going down 1-0 in the first half. Abdulrahman Ghareeb, Mohammed Al-Fatil, and Mohammed Maran all scored after 12 minutes of extra time was given, ensuring a 3-1 victory. However, the scoreboard did not reflect how hard the game was. Al Nassr retained their top spot in the league through the win.

What does the “Leonel Messi vs. Cristiano Ronaldo” rivalry look like?

Messi and Ronaldo’s rivalry has been made into a global question over which one is the better. Both fanbases continually argue over which one is the true ‘GOAT’ of soccer.

Messi has recently won the 2022 Qatar World Cup, something which puts him ahead of Ronaldo in the GOAT debate. He also recently scored in a 4-2 win for PSG over Nantes, where he reached 1000 goal involvements in his club career.

Messi is also rumored to leave PSG in the coming summer. He is continuously linked with joining MLS side Inter Miami, co-owned by David Beckham, and a return to Barcelona is also on the cards. He is even rumored to be offered to come to Saudi Arabia, though there has been no evidence of it so far.

Ronaldo previously left Europe following disagreements with Manchester United over game time and joined Saudi Pro League side Al Nassr, who made him the world’s highest-paid player.

Ronaldo scored eight goals and two assists in his first month since joining, which earned him the Player of the Month award for February. Al Nassr will next face Al Ittihad away on Thursday to fight for the league’s top spot. Both are currently separated by two points.
