Piers Morgan has again fired more shots at Manchester United manager Erik Ten Haag over his treatment of Ronaldo. This comes after Manchester United lost 7-0 to Liverpool last Sunday.
United was butchered badly when they faced Liverpool at Anfield on Sunday, especially in the second half when they conceded six goals. United was in great form, winning the Carabao Cup recently and even were unbeaten in all competitions since January 22. This made them favorites for the game. The disastrous result at the hands of their greatest rivals was completely unexpected and has earned them great shame.
Piers Morgan took the opportunity to mock Manchester United and Erik Ten Haag, even saying that it was ‘karma’ for the way the club treated Cristiano Ronaldo. Previously, the Portuguese gave a bombshell interview in November with Piers on his podcast, criticizing the manager and the club. This led to United terminating his contract with mutual consent. He then joined the Saudi Pro League club Al Nassr in January.
What has Piers Morgan said about Ten Haag?
Piers Morgan, who is a great admirer of Cristiano Ronaldo, has kept defending Ronaldo after his exit, especially on Twitter.
The talk show host first shared a photo of Ten Haag dancing when he won the Carabao Cup with the words, ‘Don’t think we’ll be seeing any dancing tonight.’

He also shared a photo of Ten Haag calling for his resignation after the 7-0 defeat, ‘Has Ten Hag resigned yet? How can any Manchester United manager survive a performance & result that catastrophically dreadful?’

It seems Piers has a personal vendetta against Ten Haag for his treatment of Ronaldo and will not stop until Ten Haag is fired.
Ronaldo signed a massive contract with Saudi Arabian club Al-Nassr after leaving Manchester United and has scored eight goals including two hat tricks in the Saudi Pro League. He even won the Player of the Month award for February for his eight goals and two assists.
United are now going to continue fighting the rest of the competitions they are in despite the heavy loss they faced. They next face Real Betis in the Europa League tonight and then Southampton in the Premier League on Sunday.
