Cristiano Ronaldo achieved his first individual award for Al Nassr as he was named the Saudi Pro League’s Player of the Month for February. His eight goals and 2 assists earned him the well earned award in his first month of playing there.
Ronaldo has shown no signs of stopping even after doubts about whether he could still perform highly or not. In only four league games, He has 10 goal involvements showing he is still not done yet.
Ronaldo had to leave Manchester United following disagreements about playing time and club visions. After no interest from any big European clubs, he then joined Al Nassr who made him the highest paid player in the world.
Despite struggling at first losing the Saudi Super Cup semi finals to Al Ittihad, Ronaldo soon turned it up. He scored his first goal which was a 93rd minute penalty to earn a 2-2 draw against Al Fateh.
Ronaldo then scored a sensational poker in a 4-0 away win at Al Wehda showing he means business. He then assisted beautifully twice in a 2-1 victory against Al Taawoun. He then ended the month with a hat trick in a 3-0 win against Damac.
All of this earned Ronaldo the Player of the Month award in his very first month there.

However, Ronaldo will not be satisfied with only one award. He is now actively chasing the league’s Golden Boot award.
Despite playing only five league games out of eighteen as he joined in the winter, Ronaldo is only five goals off the current top scorer of the league.
His own teammate Talisca is in the top spot with 13 goals. Rest assured, now that Ronaldo will be the main goalscorer for the team, we can expect for him to win the top scorer award as well.
Al Nassr is also now top of the league thanks to Ronaldo’s valuable goals. With 12 matches left, Ronaldo will be aiming to win the league, the King Cup of Champions, and every individual award there possible. They next face Al Batin at home on Friday to maintain their lead at the top of the table.
