He explicitly stated he would drink Coors Light because Bud Light wasn’t paying him anything.

Later, he revealed how, before the press conference, Dana White took him to the bathroom and explained to him what he was actually doing wrong here. “Before the press conference that night, Dana took me into a bathroom and let me know what was on his mind. I said later that night that it was a ‘whip-the-dog session,’ and believe me, it was. He explained that pissing off major sponsors was not the way to do it.”

Lesnar also put himself in front of his autobiographies, explaining that he was just being an honest person there. “And just so I’m honest as hell here in my own book about it, let me say that he didn’t phrase his explanation too nicely. He was upset with me, and the truth is, he had every right to be.” Via Essentially Sports.

He also mentioned It was a ‘whip-the-dog session’ for him, and he respected what White had to say as the boss of one of the biggest sports companies.
