Ronda Rousey is a former American Mixed martial artist as well as wrestler who left UFC after losing to Amanda Nunes in 2016 and said she would possibly never make a comeback. After a couple of cameo appearances, she moved to WWE full-time in 2018.
Ronda Rousey’s last fight against Amanda Nunes didn’t end well for the former with Nunes winning the fight within 48 seconds of the first round by a KO / TKO, after which the former UFC bantamweight champion left UFC.
After leaving UFC to join WWE, Ronda Rousey has also reportedly left the wrestling promotion. In a recent interview with James Desborough of The Sun Magazine, Rousey reported that she has a keen interest in pursuing a career in acting and wishes to have another child. This might be the actual reason behind her leaving WWE.
Dana White shuts down Ronda Rousey return rumors
In a recent interview with The Daily Mail, UFC president Dana White said “Don’t expect to see Ronda Rousey back for UFC 300 — or for any octagon comeback anytime soon.” Speaking Tuesday night at the Contender series post-fight press conference, White called any rumblings of a potential Rousey return a “crock of shit.”

“Ronda’s having kids, Ronda built this whole thing that’s going on with the women here, then her dream was to go to the WWE. She went there and did everything that she did there and achieved. She’s made shitloads of money. She’s moved on with her life.” White added.
Rousey left UFC in 2016 before making WWE jump
Ronda Rousey is the first-ever UFC women’s champion. She defended her bantamweight title six consecutive times from 2013-15 before getting knocked out by Holly Holm at UFC 193. Rousey only fought once more — a 48-second knockout loss to Amanda Nunes in December 2016 — before retiring from mixed martial arts and ultimately joining WWE.

At WWE, she initially had a difficult time as fans were having a difficult time resonating with her character. Also in terms of charisma, her more solid demeanor probably turned many away. However, she slowly started transitioning towards more of a antogonistic character and eventually managed to find her place among the fandom, even securing some major titles.
