Now that Coach Prime’s era has ended at Jackson State, Deion Sanders has put his swanky little farm up for sale for a whopping $1.5M. Some of the amenities mentioned in the listing are in demand and are expected to garner a lot of offers and inquiries.
However, the end of his tenure at JSU clearly hasn’t stopped him from waxing lyrical about his son, Shedeur Sanders. Prized to be one of the top picks at next season’s draft, Shedeur has been lighting it up in college football circuits and could be in line for the prized starting QB spot at several NFL sides.
Deion Sanders assesses son’s NFL possibilities
Speaking to Taylor Rooks, Deion Sanders addressed the concerns regarding the inclusion of his eldest son into this famed league. Owing to his own illustrious career in the NFL which spanned more than a decade, Sanders is able to discuss every possible situation with his son.
“We’re never caught off-guard on anything. Daddy’s been around the block a couple of times, so we discuss every possible scenario that can happen. It’s no surprises under the sun with us,” said Sanders in this interview.
About his son, Deion Sanders added, “Shedeur doesn’t wanna be second to nobody. People projected him behind Caleb Williams; now he is phenomenal, but Shedeur ain’t no backseat rider, he wants his place too,” addressing Shedeur’s draft round positioning.
Shedeur Sanders’ stats for Jackson State and Colorado have been nothing short of extraordinary. Running 3000+ yards in 2021 and 2022, he has surely cemented a place for himself in the upper echelons of draft picks for 2024 or beyond.
Coach Prime’s $1.5 million listing
The listing for Coach Prime’s farm comes right after his exit as the head coach of Jackson State University, an incident that garnered a lot of attention in itself as speculations arose that he left the program at JSU too soon. However, Sanders maintained his position, saying that he “finished the task.”
Some of the key amenities of the Sanders Farm include a private lake, a game room with a fully functional bar, and a pool area with a kitchen. The grandeur and appeal makes the entire property the epitome of luxurious living in Mississippi now listed for $1.5 million.
The property also includes a barn equipped with two bedrooms, a bathroom, and four full-sized horse stables. Initial offers have already started rolling in, although Sanders has not taken the final decision just yet.
