The much-anticipated battle between Jake Paul and Tommy Fury, which has been in the works for the past two years, is drawing closer and closer to its scheduled date. Jake had shared a humorous response to the news of his ring opponent Fury’s confirmed departure to Saudi Arabia.

The fight between Jake Paul and Tommy Fury is being eagerly anticipated by boxing fans around the world. There were two different dates set for the bout between Jake Paul and Tommy Fury, but both were canceled at the last minute. Still, on February 26 they will meet again in Riyadh after much sound and fury.
This time, the fight has come a lot closer to the set date than it has on the previous two occasions, and the fact that Tommy has confirmed on his Instagram story that he will be leaving London for Saudi Arabia makes it more likely that the fight will actually take place.

The former Love Island star posted a picture on social media showing his presence on a plane with a destination route that verified his travel to Riyadh, the location of the fight between him and his long-time rival Jake Paul.
The Problem Child retweeted Tommy’s announcement that he will be flying to Saudi Arabia, seemingly expressing relief at the news after previously having doubted that his British opponent would actually fight him when Fury failed to appear at a press conference in Saudi Arabia just a week earlier.
“TOMMY FURY BOARDED HIS FLIGHT TO SAUDI. DELICIOUS!” Jake Paul responded.
Fury later explained his reasons for not showing up in the promotional event of the fight and promised to be in Saudi Arabia to face Jake in time. TNT also said at the end of the day, everyone’s going to have an opinion, let people think what they’re going to think but he will be there bright and early in Saudi Arabia, ready for this fight and there are no worries for him to not show up.
“The two previous fights that didn’t go ahead were completely out of my hands, they had nothing to do with me whatsoever. What happened is what happened, but I am fit, I am conditioned, I’m here, I’m ready and I will be in Saudi don’t worry about that,” said Tommy Fury.

Tommy and Jake’s long-running online battle continued for over two years, and both boxers have been dropping indications that they may decide to settle their differences in a boxing ring. Before their final showdown, they have been constantly trash-talking each other and issuing defeat threats.
On January 26 in London, they had their first face-to-face encounter during a boxing match between Artur Beterbiev and Anthony Yarde. A fierce argument ensued, as expected, and security had to intervene to keep the two young fighters apart.
This is their third opportunity to square off in a boxing ring, after two prior failures. Tommy’s rib injury forced the rescheduling of the 2021 fight and due to logistical difficulties, Tommy could not compete in 2022.
