This summer, he reignited the rumors when he confirmed to the club he would not be renewing his contract beyond this summer.

Kylian Mbappe reportedly commits to Real Madrid move

The famous journalist claimed that Kylian Mbappe is still committed to joining Real Madrid next summer when his contract expires. In fact, the Frenchman has even assured the 14-time UCL champions of his intentions to not extend his contract at PSG.
The news has made Madrid fans become overjoyed with happiness as they could finally see the French talisman join them. Mbappe has been connected to the club ever since he made his breakthrough at Monaco. He is a self-proclaimed fan of the club, and especially of its legends, Cristiano Ronaldo and Zinedine Zidane.
He did come close in 2022 when he was available as a free agent, but wide pressure and a big contract led to him signing a new contract extension in Paris. Apparently, Real Madrid does not want a repeat of the previous occasion, and this time wants Mbappe to sign his contract with them in January itself. The player will be able to join another team during the winter transfer window, Madrid has made it clear that they won’t wait until June. The club has shortlisted other candidates if Mbappe somehow decides to stay in Paris.
