Detroit Lions in Talks for Myles Garrett Blockbuster Trade Next Season

Myles Garrett shocked fans when he requested a trade earlier this month. His sudden decision left the Cleveland Browns’ roster feeling unbalanced. Garrett had an incredible last season as well, but the Browns ended the season 3-14, pushing him to explore other options.

With his exceptional defensive skills, several teams are eager to sign him for their next Super Bowl run. One team that’s showing serious interest is the Detroit Lions, who had a strong performance last season and are looking to get even better.

The Detroit Lions had a great season, finishing with a 15-2 record, the same as the Kansas City Chiefs. They were in a perfect position to win their first Super Bowl in history, but unfortunately, they fell short in the qualifying rounds.

To fix this, Lions’ general manager Brad Holmes is looking for ways to improve the team’s defense. A big move could be trading for Myles Garrett, a four-time Pro Bowl defender. Many believe that if the team didn’t win it all last season, adding Garrett could make the difference.

Recently, ESPN’s Dan Graziano discussed whether the Lions should spend big on another top pass-rusher to pair with Aidan Hutchinson. He said it wouldn’t be surprising, even though it’s not the usual style of GM Brad Holmes.

Graziano even mentioned Garrett as one of the most possible trade targets for the Lions. However, it’s not just the Lions; the Washington Commanders are also interested in trading for Garrett. A Super Bowl champion recently made a prediction about this.

Chris Canty predicts Myles Garrett will present Browns with irresistible offer

Super Bowl XLVI champion Chris Canty has made a bold prediction about Cleveland Browns’ star defender Myles Garrett. On ESPN Radio’s ‘UNSPORTSMANLIKE,’ Canty talked about the Browns’ tough season and possible roster moves. He believes Commanders will offer a big trade for Garrett this offseason.

He said, “I suspect the Washington Commanders will make the Cleveland Browns an offer they can’t refuse. When you assess where the Washington Commanders need to get better, it’s clearly on the defensive side of the ball and being able to add more playmakers in their front seven.”
