Bengals RB Joe Mixon is making headlines as he allegedly pointed a gun toward a woman. The woman accused him, saying Mixon pointed a gun towards her and said, “You should be popped in the face, I should shoot you, the police [can’t] get me.”
Police sent the running back an arrest warrant for one count of aggravated menacing in Ohio. In the state, the charge is filled when someone “cause another to believe that the offender will cause serious physical harm to the person or property of the other person, the other person’s unborn, or a member of the other person’s immediate family.”
However, with Joe’s agent, Peter Schaffer, coming out with his new statement Mixon is off the hook, and all charges will be dropped on Friday. Many people, including the police, quickly judged Mixon for the alleged action.
Yet, no one can blame them, as Joe has a dark history regarding violence against women. The star running back earlier in 2014 had to go to court for punching a girl and breaking her jaw and cheekbone.
However, the player was guilty afterward and apologized to the girl bringing an end to that case.
Now that all charges have been dropped and Joe Mixon has been proven innocent, his mother steps in and shares her thoughts with Kelsey Conway.
What did Joe Mixon’s mother say?
Kelce Conway shared a tweet late Thursday night, saying that while trying to reach Joe, she caught up with his mother, who told her, “Did he do it, no he didn’t.” before calling the accuser “money hungry.”
This just in: When I reached out to #Bengals RB Joe Mixon for a comment on the warrant, his mom answered and said:
"Did he do it, no he didn't."
Referenced the term "money hungry" and said "you guys know Joe" and then hung up.@Enquirer

Mixon’s mother must be relieved now that his son Joe will no longer have to deal with the police or the court. Even though the arrest warrant was sent on Tuesday, the alleged incident, according to the accuser, took place on the 21st of December. Police should have investigated thoroughly before filing the warrant.
