Dillon Danis trolls Jake Paul for being “schooled by Tommy Fury” after YouTuber-turn-boxer’s challenge to Canelo Alvarez

Jake Paul made a bold claim about a potential match against Canelo Alvarez. Canelo returned to the squared circle yesterday against Jermell Charlo to defend his undisputed super-middleweight championship. Alvarez achieved this with relative ease, and although Charlo was anticipated to pose a challenge for the Mexican, the American boxer barely endured the 12 rounds against him.

Dillon Danis caught wind of Jake calling out Canelo Alvarez and didn’t pull any punches against the YouTuber-turned-boxer.

Dillon Danis reacts to Jake’s callout

Reacting to the fight between Canelo and Charlo, Jake Paul stated that Charlo isn’t using his power. Further, ‘The Problem Child’ also made a bold claim by saying, “Wait until Canelo gets my power you know, just wait, brother.”

Responding to what Paul had to say, Dillon Danis clapped back at ‘The Problem Child’ and said that the younger Paul brother got schooled by Tommy Fury and went for survival against Nate Diaz.

Jake Paul has expressed his desire to fight Canelo Alvarez multiple times. The Mexican champion was not at all interested in fighting Paul earlier but looks like Alvarez is open to an exhibition fight once the Mexican is done with his professional career.

Jake Paul boxing record

Jake Paul has taken over the boxing world over the years since his debut in January 2018 when he fought YouTuber turned boxer Deji. The younger Paul brother turned professional in 2020 against Youtuber AnEsonGib.

‘The Problem Child’ is arguably the face of influencer boxing. Although he didn’t start the trend, that credit goes to his older brother Logan Paul as well as KSI and Joe Weller. However, in a short time, he’s become one of the most prolific influencer athletes.

A year later, Jake went on to fight YouTuber AnEsonGib in 2020 to turn professional. Paul made a major leap in his boxing career with his bout against NBA star Nate Robinson. Paul managed to wear Robinson down near the end of the first round and finally got the knockout in the 2nd round.

The fight against Nate Robinson had already put Jake on the map. His next fight against the former Olympic mixed martial artist Ben Askren in 2021 solidified his presence in boxing world. Paul went on to knock Askren out in the first round.

Since then Jake Paul has fought huge names like Nate Diaz, Anderson Silva, Tommy Fury, and Tyron Woodley. Paul boasts an impressive record of 7-1 with his only loss coming to the British professional boxer, Tommy Fury.

Jake Paul’s boxing journey has been remarkable thus far. With notable wins against Nate Diaz, Anderson Silva, and Tyron Woodley. We’d love to hear your opinion on his recent challenge to Canelo Alvarez. Share your thoughts in the comments below.
