“Do or Die for Me” – Jey Uso Responds to Haters Who Question His WrestleMania Main Event Role

Only one wrestler has officially secured his spot at WrestleMania 41, and that’s none other than “The Yeet” Jey Uso. After winning the Royal Rumble in February, he earned his place in the main event by eliminating 29 other superstars from the ring.

This is a huge moment in his career, but not everyone is cheering for him. Many critics believe he doesn’t have the star power to headline WrestleMania. He recently responded to the backlash, promising to prove his doubters wrong and show why he belongs on the biggest stage.

In a recent interview with CBS Sports, Jey Uso responded to those who doubt him. He made it clear that he’s ready to prove them wrong.

When asked to send a message to his critics, Jey said, “This is do or die for me. I feel like I am doubted a lot. A lot of people are doubting me right now, Uce. I’m not supposed to be in this position. I know that. They know that. But I’m going to shut them all up.”

He also admitted that while he’s had some good matches, none have truly stood out. “This is redemption time on the big stage. The pressure is on,” he added.

Rikishi shares special advice for Jey Uso before WrestleMania

As WrestleMania 41 gets closer, WWE legend Rikishi has shared some advice for his son, Jey Uso, who will face Gunther for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship. As a proud father and experienced wrestler, Rikishi showed his support on social media.

On X, he wrote, “It’s go time #YEETMANIA Blow the roof off #LV #MainEventJey.” Speaking on the Off The Top podcast, Rikishi said he was excited for Jey’s big match. He’s happy that Jey is getting another chance to defeat Gunther on wrestling’s biggest stage.

Rikishi said, “I think Jey made the right decision. There’s history there between him and Gunther… So, I don’t see anything else but the best performance ever from Jey going into WrestleMania.”
