Dolphins Wide Receiver Grant DuBose Hospitalized Following Scary Hit to Head

Sunday night’s game between the Dolphins and Texans was tough for Miami fans. Their favorite team lost badly to the Texans. While the defeat was disappointing, what scared everyone more was the hard hit Dolphins wide receiver Grant DuBose took during the game. The hit was so serious that he had to be taken to the hospital right after.

Grant DuBose was taken to the hospital on Sunday after a hard helmet-to-helmet hit with Texans safety Calen Bullock during Week 15. The scary moment happened in the third quarter when DuBose tried to catch a pass and was hit by Bullock, who was flagged for unnecessary roughness.

Everyone in the group was terrified when DuBose remained motionless on the field after hitting his head for about 11 minutes before stabilization and hospitalization. He had just returned from an injury before the game. Nobody could have predicted that such terrible events would occur so quickly.

While stretching, they carefully placed DuBose on a spine board, securing his arms and legs. He had a tube in his mouth and remained motionless during his removal from the field. The team later said DuBose is in stable condition but will stay in the hospital overnight for more tests.

Fans react to Grant DuBose’ frightening hit

Fans reacted strongly to the injury, with many criticizing the NFL’s safety system. The Texans have been involved in similar incidents recently, and some called Grant DuBose’s hit one of the worst in football.

@Jusoon3 shared, “I haven’t watched the NFL in a decade or more, but that looked like a pretty normal “across the middle” hit by a defensive back. Its football.”

@JavierR44481448 suggested, “The dolphins need a new water boy, some more high quality h2o would strengthen these boys right up…. Nah, seriously hope he is good.”

@NetworkDirecto1 noted, “Didn’t even look like a nasty hit.. on TV.”

@startleok commented, “Not a dirty hit. A normal bang bang football play with receiver ducking at wrong place wrong time. No suspension here. The Al Shaier hit was different. He had time to pull off.”

@mcgoochin noted, “Tua hung him out to dry with that throw.”

@snarkyz13 noted, “It’s was solid hit, I miss when men played football.”
