Donald Trump NFL Appearance Spoiled By Viral Fan Gesture

The NFL matchup between the New York Jets and the Pittsburgh Steelers took an exciting turn when former President Donald Trump made a surprise appearance at Acrisure Stadium. While Trump’s supporters cheered, a video went viral of a fan giving him the middle finger twice, which caused a lot of debate online.

The GOP nominee got both boos and cheers when he went to the Steelers game against the Jets at Acrisure Stadium. It was the end of a busy day of campaigning, which included a fake shift at McDonald’s. However, Donald Trump thanked Steelers fans for making him feel welcome during his visit, even though one fan gave him the middle finger.

A campaign worker shared a video of Trump waving from a private room as a fan gave him the middle finger and a “U-S-A” chant started. Many people liked how he looked, but some thought the rude action took away from the energy of his fans.

Despite the backlash, another fan confronted the person flipping Trump off. Last year, at an Iowa vs. Iowa State game, he also faced mixed reactions, with some fans booing and others cheering. Clearly, Trump isn’t always a fan favorite at football games.

Fans’ viral gesture at Donald Trump stirs online reactions

Showing a middle finger was definitely a bad choice. Booing is one thing, but that gesture was too extreme. Many fans are reacting negatively to it. Those who don’t like Donald Trump are praising the gesture, while his supporters are not impressed.

@ArtCandee tweeted, “Someone find that woman and buy her a beer!”

@DeclinenAmerica commented, “Thousands chanting USA and you want to pick out a handful of haters? There Will always be a handful that hate America everywhere you go.”
