The hosts of TNT, Shaquille O’Neal and Charles Barkley, weren’t much glorified when it came to the Phoenix Suns’ new recruit Kevin Durant and his previous record.
The duo often criticises professionals, and sometimes they go over the line unjustifiably. Whatever take anyone provides it seems like the duo takes it for granted and goes bonkers while harshly criticizing players like Durant, imposing their opinion.
Recently, Kevin Durant expressed his opinion on the former professional duo, which did not appear to be very apologetic.
What did Kevin Durant say about his critics?
The 34-year-old finally changed his jersey from the Brooklyn Nets, and it wasn’t much of a pleasant way to leave for any party. The star, however, never compromised in his performance, though he wasn’t keen on playing for the nets.
However, O’Neal and Barkley were somewhat triggered by Durant’s attitude and called him out for his lack of leadership traits representing his franchise. And the player himself wasn’t going to let this one go, as it appears he had had enough of this unwanted criticism.
“I don’t need no credit from y’all, no credit from Barkley, no credit from Shaq. Y’all don’t ever have to watch me play ever again, don’t talk about me if you don’t rock with me,” the two-time NBA champion said. “I’m not gonna stop doing what I do. Everybody has their opinions, man. It’s not gonna stop me and how I approach the game.”
Kevin is having a top-notch season, scoring an average of 29.5 points with 6.7 rebounds and 5.2 assists per game. Note that he submitted a trade request before the start of the season and put up such a magnanimous performance in the shortest possible time.

The Suns are seeded fourth in the Western Conference with a 35-29 record, facing favorable odds to appear in the playoffs.
