The argument between Stephen A. Smith and LeBron James caused a lot of talk in the NBA recently. Lip readers noticed that LeBron was telling the ESPN analyst to stay away from his son.
As people began to move on from the incident, Bron’s friend Draymond Green brought it up for discussion, further intensifying the tension.
On the Gil’s Arena podcast, Stephen A Smith called LeBron James’ confrontation with him “weak and some bulls**t.” Smith also mentioned that Bronny looked “sad” when he saw him, which might have upset LeBron. While LeBron hasn’t responded to Smith yet, Draymond Green didn’t like what Smith said.
On his own podcast, The Draymond Green Show, Draymond strongly criticized Stephen A. Smith. He said, “A lot of problems that guys have with media are to call something that that man did is bullsh*t and weak. Those are words where, when we grew up, you got your hands put on you. I think the problem is that you go on there and say, ‘Oh, that’s weak.'”

Green pointed out that when people talk like that, it’s not just about basketball anymore. It’s personal. He added that Smith is paid to talk about basketball, not make it about anything else.
Green’s comments have added another layer to the ongoing discussion about the role of media in critiquing athletes and their families. And it seems like we have to now go through this conversation some more days.
LeBron James gets major injury update
LeBron James is recovering after a groin injury that kept him out for over a week. Shams Charania of ESPN first reported that LeBron would miss one to two weeks, as the Lakers were being careful with his recovery while they held the third spot in the Western Conference.

This report indicates it was more than likely a Grade I strain which usually comes with a 1-2 week healing period

On Sunday, encouraging news emerged as James participated in his first on-court workout since sustaining the injury. Charania shared the update during “NBA Countdown,” saying, “LeBron James is actually having his first workout since that groin strain last weekend.”
Charania added, “He is expected, though, to miss at least another week. His exact return will be based on how his body responds to increased activity over the coming days and the coming week.”
