Golden State Warriors elite player Draymond Green shared a funny anecdote about his plans to show his future grandkids the feats of one of his talented teammates.
The Warriors snatched an incredible 120-109 victory over the New Orleans Pelicans on Tuesday night with 39 points from Stephen Curry and the match-highest 13 assists from Draymond Green.
They are currently staying in 6th place with a 39-37 record in the West Conference. Despite starting with an average performance, the team is now vying for a place in the Playoffs, albeit their position is still rather Volatile. However, with this magnificent win, hopefully, the team has returned to the level that took them all the way to the championship last time around.
On the contrary, the Pelicans are in big trouble as they are currently in 8th place and are going to face the top six teams in their upcoming five games.
Whose outstanding play will Draymond Green show to his grandkids?
Impressing a veteran player like Draymond Green is undoubtedly a challenging task as the four-time NBA All-Star himself holds multiple records, however, the Warriors’ 20-year-old Jonathan Kuminga passed the difficult task with his monstrous feat.
The four-time NBA champion posted some clips from their last match against the Pelicans including one footage of Kuminga showcasing his outstanding sporting skills where Green had tossed the ball and the young star Kuminga didn’t linger to catch the ball and bury it into the basket.
The Pelicans Herb Jones was standing there as a rim protector but the Warriors’ Congolese shining star’s giant leap overshadowed his effort.
The 33-year-old could not be any more impressed by the performance of Kuminga as by sharing the clips with a laughing emoji on his Instagram story, the elite player vowed to show that to his grandkids.
Fans of the Warriors and basketball enthusiasts alike can’t help but appreciate Green’s lighthearted approach to sharing his passion for the game with his future generation.
With athletes like Kuminga on the rise and Green still at the top of his game, the Warriors are poised to continue their winning ways for years to come.
