Star quarterback, Drew Brees is back at helping the people of the state of Louisiana. The player from New Orleans Saints had previously made a donation of $5 million dollars to deliver meals across the state of Louisiana to those in need.

This time he is back again pouring another $5 million into the state health care along with his wife. Drew and his wife said in an Instagram video, “COVID-19 has changed nearly everything; As we work through one of the greatest challenges of our lifetimes, our health and wellness has never been more important.”
He further went onto write on that post, “Brittany and I have always tried to address the greatest needs of our communities through our foundation and personal giving. Today we are very excited to announce another donation of $5 million in partnership with Ochsner Health to build numerous healthcare centers throughout Louisiana in the communities that need it most. We will continue to bridge the gap to bring healthcare, education, and economic equity to all of our communities. We are proud to bring the first of these health care centers to New Orleans East later this year.”
Amidst these turbulent times, we need more like Brees and his wife who can come forward and help out the community in the name of humanity.
