Drew McIntyre Destroys Damian Priest on SmackDown Ahead of WrestleMania

Finally, Drew McIntyre has put his feud with the OG Bloodline aside and is focused on getting even with Damian Priest, who eliminated him in the Royal Rumble 2025 and pinned him in the Elimination Chamber.

They have now officially started to hate each other as the former champion destroyed Priest on tonight’s WWE Smackdown.

The match between Shinsuke Nakamura and Damian Priest ended with Priest winning by DQ. However, Priest was almost losing when Drew McIntyre interrupted and attacked him back-to-back. Drew even slammed Priest with steel steps.

As Priest slowly got up, Drew noticed and ran back to hit him with a Claymore kick and stomped on his head. McIntyre said Priest had hurt him many times, and now he would make Priest’s life miserable.

This confirmed that if Drew is in WrestleMania 41, he will face Damian Priest for sure. Meanwhile, WWE reveals Drew McIntyre’s path after WM41.

WWE reveals Drew McIntyre’s plan after WrestleMania 41

WWE had originally planned for Drew McIntyre to fight Cody Rhodes, according to Dave Meltzer in the Wrestling Observer Newsletter. But with John Cena now involved in the title race, those plans might change.

Meltzer mentioned moving McIntyre to SmackDown for a title match against Rhodes, but if Rhodes loses, that plan might not come to fruition. He also mentioned rumors about matches like Damian Priest vs. Drew McIntyre, which started to show with tonight’s Smackdown.
