The diamond Dustin Poirier has once again drawn the attention of a lot of UFC fans, he posted a few tweets about wanting to move up a weight class and was also seen looking a little big in one of his recent photos.

Dustin Poirier provides weight proof

In a recent picture posted by the twitter account of welterweight spidey, Dustin Poirier appeared to seem a lot bigger than he usually looks, to the point where people were questioning if he was around the 190lbs.

To put into perspective Dustin Poirier usually fights at the 170ish weight range so for him to seem like he is around 190lbs is actually crazy, to put into perspective Dustin fought around the 170 pound weight range in his recent fight on the UFC 291 card.

It got to such a point that Dustin literally had to put a video proof online just to prove that he weighs somewhere around the same still. But will we be seeing Dustin Poirier bulk up and move up a weight class to fight in the UFC.

Poirier teased about moving up in weightclass

After losing again on the UFC 291 card by Justin, Dustin himself was not very sure in his future in this organization cause he said in his 47 fights in MMA he has never lost twice in a row but now this loss has affected him.

After his loss on the UFC 291 card the diamond has this to say on Ariel’s show, “But I’m Mr. Bounce Back. I’ve never lost two fights in a row in 47 fights. I don’t think I can walk away on a loss. But also, I don’t know. Like I said in the press conference, I’m not better than these guys, but I’ve been doing this s*** too long.”

“I don’t want to fight a new guy in the UFC or something like that. It has to mean something to me. Otherwise, I’m just fighting to fight. I’ve done that my whole life. I got ahead doing that. I put myself in a great position. It has to mean something. This meant something. This was a legacy fight. That’s what really hurts.”
