Dwayne Johnson fell ill while filming his Hollywood debut
For those unaware, The Mummy Returns was the first movie that was given to The Rock for his Hollywood debut. This movie was the sequel of already a blockbuster hit movie named The Mummy. The next sequel The Mummy Returns was picked up after eight years of the first movie. Dwayne played the role of a revival of the cursed Scorpion King.
The Rock had one day to actually shoot the film. He flew to Morocco on Wednesday. After getting ready on Thursday with his costumes and other essentials he had his shots on Friday. Due to having a WWE show in Detroit, the People’s Champion flew back on Saturday. Having a tight schedule led to multiple problems for Dwayne Johson. It was revealed that he was dealing with heatstroke as well as bad food poisoning. The temperature was above 110 degrees but the Rock burrowed under blankets, shivering.
But Dwayne gutted through this, eventually earning his own spin-off, The Scorpion King.

It was also speculated that he charged millions to share his own movie with his followers.
