Dwyane Wade Opens Up About LeBron James’ Role in Keeping Dwyane Wade with Miami Heat

Dwyane Wade, who helped the Miami Heat win an NBA championship in 2006, was thinking about leaving the team after the 2009-2010 season. After completing seven seasons, joining a new team seemed like a good option for him. But things changed when LeBron James, who had just decided to join the Heat in 2010, convinced Wade to stay with the franchise.

Dwyane Wade, a 13-time NBA All-Star, is one of the few players whose jersey has been retired by the Miami Heat. Recently, he was honored with an 8-foot bronze statue at the Kaseya Center. In a recent interview on *The OGs Show* with former teammate Udonis Haslem, Wade opened up about almost leaving the Heat in 2010.

Recalling the moment, he said, “I was actually leaving Miami at that time. I didn’t think that nobody out there that [the Heat] could get was going to get us to that [championship] level.”  During free agency, he was thinking about joining the Chicago Bulls, his hometown team, but everything changed after a call from LeBron James.

Wade continued, “For me, my hometown team could win. So I was like, ‘Man, I’m going back home. I’m going to Chicago. I played seven years here, I won a championship, it’s time.’… But I got that call, man. I got that call from No. 6.”

And the decision to stay with the Heat ultimately led to one of the most dominant eras in NBA history

LeBron James’ SpringHill reportedly eyeing a merger with Fulwell 73

Two major companies, Fulwell 73 and SpringHill Co., are currently involved in discussions on a potential merger. NBA stars LeBron James and Maverick Carter founded SpringHill, while Fulwell 73 is well-known for its hit reality show “The Kardashians” on Hulu.

The two companies have been discussing the merger for several months. Sources say it would be a joint venture, not a purchase. According to the report by Bloomberg, both parties see this as a chance to strengthen their positions in the media and entertainment industries.

While the talks are still ongoing, neither SpringHill nor Fulwell 73 have commented publicly yet. And while LeBron James hasn’t said he’s ready to retire from basketball, it looks like he’ll be busy with his business ventures once he does.
