On Sunday evening, the Philadelphia Eagles coaching staff gathered around a television to watch the New York Giants destroy the Minnesota Vikings in the Wild Card game. They were thinking forward and getting ready for their divisional battle. That’s typical for teams with a bye in the playoffs, but it’s not what made Nick Sirianni’s comments on Tuesday notable. With a straight face, Sirianni boasted that he and his staff enjoyed a stuffed-crust pizza from Pizza Hut.

“I was kinda craving Pizza Hut stuffed-crust pizza,” Sirianni told reporters. “I haven’t had that in a while. That’s not something I get to get at home. So we had that.”
So, there you have it – the secret to Philly’s offensive success is that they’re fueled by Pizza Hut. This Saturday, Coach Siranni and the Eagles will face the Giants. Saturday’s kickoff time is 8:15 p.m. EST. If things go well for Philadelphia, a Pizza Hut is only 5 miles away from Lincoln Financial Field.
The Giants, like the Vikings, have recently played the Eagles. In fact, both games between New York and Philadelphia were played late in the season. After defeating the Vikings 31-23 on Sunday, the six-seeded Giants will now be rewarded with another trip to the No. 1 seed Philadelphia Eagles in the divisional playoff round.
