After much anticipation, Errol Spence Jr. and Terence Crawford will finally square off. Boxing fans are already on the edge of their seats in anticipation of the title clash between the two undefeated boxers for the undisputed welterweight crown.
Crawford and Spence are set to face off in the eagerly anticipated fight on July 29 at Las Vegas’ T-Mobile Arena, according to ESPN. A rematch clause, however, is also included in the agreement, but it will only be effective if the loser of the fight chooses to utilize it.

Crawford – Spencer : What’s at stake in the undisputed welterweight title bout?
With the IBF, WBC, and WBA titles under his belt since 2022, Spence is currently the unified welterweight world champion. After 28 fights and 11 years of professional boxing, the 33-year-old boxer is still unbeaten. The most recent of his 28 victories, against Yordenis Ugas in April 2022, was one of his 22 knockout victories.
In his professional boxing career, Crawford, the WBO welterweight champion, has a remarkable record. In 39 fights throughout the course of his 15-year pro career, the 35-year-old boxer has remained unbeaten. His most recent victory was against David Avanesyan in December 2022. Of his 39 victories, 30 were obtained via knocking out the opponent.
The fight between the two best welterweight fighters of this generation has therefore been planned for a while. The two American boxers’ decision to stage the superfight, though, is a fantastic development. There is a good chance that the fight’s victor will be dubbed as the best pound for pound boxer.

Biggest boxing fight of 2023?
In terms of anticipation, attendance, and PPV purchases, the battle for the undisputed welterweight championship between Bud and The Truth will probably be the biggest. The excitement surrounding fights like Ryan Garcia vs. Gervonta Davis and Devin Haney vs. Vasiliy Lomachenko, though, was comparable and was largely brought on by their large social media fan bases.
