Tom Brady, the legend of the NFL, retired from the league on Wednesday. This is TB12’s second retirement in the span of a year. Last year Brady announced his retirement on February 1st, only to change his mind and reappear in the Buccaneers in a short period of forty days. This time around, Brady says that he is “retiring for good.” Getting to know about TB12’s retirement, retired star J.J. Watt pays tribute to Tom.
In Tom’s short retirement video, the legend gets straight to the point and says he is retiring. Then, he goes on to thank all people who had supported him in his extended career, saying,
“I really thank you guys so much to everyone single one of you for supporting me. My family, my friends, my teammates, my competitors… I can go on forever. There’s too many. Thank you guys, for allowing me to live my absolute dream.”
Truly grateful on this day. Thank you 🙏🏻❤️ pic.twitter.com/j2s2sezvSS

Watt was one of the competitors Brady was talking about in his video. The two had been rivals for years and shared many incredible memories on the field. So, it was no surprise when the old-timer, ex-Cardinals defensive end J.J. Watt came out with a tribute tweet for Tom.
How did J.J. Watt pay his tribute to Tom Brady?
Many people, including Watt, tweeted about TB12 after the”California Cool” had announced his retirement. Watt was not shy to call Brady the NFL GOAT, as he wrote in his tweet,
“Greatest of All Time. No question, no debate. It’s been an honor and a privilege. 🐐 PS – The newly retired group meets on the golf course every morning at 10 am. Drinks are on the new guy, so bring your wallet.”
Greatest of All Time.
No question, no debate.
It’s been an honor and a privilege.

J.J. is not exaggerating while calling TB12 the greatest of all time; in his extended career, Tom has won seven Super Bowls, most by any player in the game’s history. Undoubtedly, Tom will be missed in the NFL. However, as fans of the ultimate football GOAT, we hope Brady the best with the next chapter of his life.
