Free agent wide receiver Chosen Anderson has announced his decision to sign with the Miami Dolphins, and he did so in a unique and attention-grabbing way.
Dolphins GM Chris Grier and the team’s front office lifted the team from the red by restructuring the contracts of their key players Bradley Chubb, Terron Armstead, and Tyreek Hill in March, clearing enough to welcome a swing or two at upper-level FA as they were looking forward to bolstering their several positions.
A new era of Chosen Anderson begins with the Miami Dolphins
ESPN’s Marcel Louis-Jacques disclosed that the Dolphins agreed to enroll former Jets wide receiver Chosen Anderson via Twitter.

Anderson later verified the news by sharing a video in his Instagram story tagging the Dolphins team with the caption, “I’m commin home” and sharing multiple pictures of others congratulating him on the deal.
Being undrafted out of Temple in 2016, the 29-year-old joined the New York Jets in the same year as an undrafted rookie and became a dominant part of the team by catching 207 passes for 3,059 receiving yards, and 20 touchdowns, however, the Jets general manager Joe Douglas decided to let him hit the free agency after spending illustrious four years with the franchise.
The 4.36-speed demon later joined the Carolina Panthers in 2020 and scored a career-high 95 passes for 1,096 receiving yards, and 3 touchdowns in his first season with the team and was released midseason from the franchise after appearing in just 10 games.
The seven-year veteran was traded to the Arizona Cardinals less than 1 day after getting removed from the sideline by the Panthers and the team released him in March ahead of free agency.
Chosen Anderson, formerly known as Robbie Anderson, gets the opportunity to join a veteran wide receivers room headlined by Tyreek Hill, Jaylen Waddle, Cedrick Wilson, Erik Ezukanma, River Cracraft, Braxton Berrios, and Freddie Swain.
The details of Anderson’s contract with the Dolphins have not been disclosed as of now, yet fans are eagerly anticipating his arrival in Miami and are excited to see him in action alongside other veteran players of the squad.
As the NFL off-season continues, fans and analysts alike will be keeping a close eye on the Miami Dolphins and their newest addition, Chosen Anderson, as they gear up for the upcoming season.
