Ex-Man United star Cristiano Ronaldo’s signed jersey to be auctioned off to fund Turkey earthquake relief

Turkey has been hit with a 7.5 magnitude earthquake on Feb 6 and the whole world is shocked to witness the severe consequences of this terrible natural disaster.

The football world is also quick to react regarding this rapid time as they offered their support as much as they can towards the victim of this unfortunate event.

Cristiano Ronaldo played alongside Merih Demiral during his time in Turin and the Turkish CB has a collection of football jerseys of top athletes including the Portuguese sensation.

After the earthquake took place and seeing the dangerous nature of it, Admiral came up immediately in support of the people of his country after offering a signed CR7 to be auctioned to raise the funds for the victims.

“I just spoke with Cristiano. He said that he was very sad about what happened in Turkey.” Merih Demiral wrote on Twitter.

“We are auctioning Ronaldo’s signed jersey in my collection. All proceeds from the auction will be used in the earthquake zone.” Turkish defender further added.
