The former New England Patriots player and Super Bowl champion Devin McCourty is all set to join the No. 1-rated NFL pregame show “Football Night in America” alongside the esteemed panel of analysts and commentators to shed light on unique insights and analysis for football fans across the country.
McCourty kicked off his NFL career after getting drafted by the Patriots as the 27th overall in the 2010 NFL draft and quickly established himself as the starter of the franchise and appeared in 205 games during his 13 seasons tenure, recording 971 tackles, 35 interceptions, 11 forced fumbles and seven fumble recoveries.

After announcing his retirement on March 10, the three-time Super Bowl champion is set to join Maria Taylor, Tony Dungy, Chris Simms, Mike Florio, and Jason Garrett on NBC Sports’ popular Sunday night pregame show, “Football Night in America,” as a studio analyst, disclosed by the network on Tuesday morning.
Speaking about his new role, he expressed excitement and gratitude for the opportunity to contribute to the show in a statement via ESPN.
“I’m excited to be a rookie on the best team in America again. I’m very grateful for this opportunity from NBC Sports to learn from great individuals, chase new goals, and provide viewers with my thoughts on the biggest games every week.”

The two-time Pro Bowler is no stranger to the world of television as he appeared as a studio analyst for “NFL Today” on CBS last year despite being an active player back then and was a guest host on NFL Network’s “Good Morning Football” earlier this year.

The McCourty brothers duo hosted the “Double Coverage” podcast from 2018 to 2020.
Jason won one Super Bowl with the Patriots in 2019 and played in 13 seasons with the Tennessee Titans, Cleveland Browns, New England Patriots, and Miami Dolphins, recording 744 tackles, 18 interceptions 108 passes defended, and three defensive touchdowns.
