Jackson signed a five-year deal, $82 million with the Chargers during free agency in 2022 following a successful four-year career in New England, however, his first season started off slow due to an ankle surgery l he suffered just before the season began.

“It’s a revenge game for me. I’m excited to go back and pick Mac Jones off and show them why they should’ve never let me go”, he said.
The thirteen-week game will be the takeaway machine’s first game against his former team since he departed during the 2022 offseason.
In his final season in New England, the former Maryland Terrapin recorded eight interceptions, a forced fumble, and a career-high 58 combined tackles, leading him to earn a Pro Bowl nod and second-team All-Pro honors.
Having spent four years with the Patriots, Jackson developed into a formidable force and made significant contributions to the team’s success during his tenure.
