UFC Vegas 72: Song Yadong vs Ricky Simon is all set to begin with its proceedings on April 28th at the Apex in Las Vegas. As we lead closer to this event, UFC President Dana White can be seen promoting the match-ups and fighters on the card on his social media platforms. However, some fans seem to be unhappy with this fight card as it does not contain any big names.
Consequently, they have shared their criticism of UFC Vegas 72 having a poor card in response to Dana’s recent Twitter post. Here are some reactions from fight enthusiasts on the main card.
Another absolutely rotten Fight Night…thanks uncle Dana 😒

What a horrible card. No point just spread these out on big fight card pre prelims

Another garbage card that no one cares about.

Unlike the previous two UFC Fight Night cards, this UFC Vegas 72 does not feature many exciting fights that fans will be looking forward to watching. However, initially, that wasn’t the case as Arman Tsarukyan was supposed to headline the main card against Renato Moicano.
But a last-minute injury to Renato Moicano put this card in jeopardy as no one accepted to fight Tsarukyan on two weeks’ short notice. Some may not consider Tsarukyan to be a big name in the promotion.
However, he is #8 in the lightweight division and is on a good win streak. Besides, one can understand the frustration of fight fans as they have to pay a good amount of money to watch these events.
UFC President Dana White suggests fights that would steal the show at UFC Vegas 72
Despite lacking star power in the upcoming UFC Vegas 72 card, the UFC President seems quite hyped up for this event. With many fight fans not recognizing the fighters on the card, the UFC President has explained in brief the fights to watch out for from the card apart from the main event bantamweight match-up.
Another match-up that can bring the viewers to their feet is the co-main event bout between Caio Borralho and Michal Oleksiejczuk. This middleweight fight is exciting as Borralho is undefeated in UFC with five wins to his name.
He has shown great potential and this will be arguably his toughest test in the promotion as Hussar has the ability to switch the lights off his opponent at any given moment.
