The Golden State Warriors have been facing a lot of heat recently after their Saturday night loss against the Memphis Grizzlies. The Warriors fell to a score of 133-119, which led them to drop to 36-36 on the season. It was their 29th road loss of the season and the 11th loss in a row away from home.
How did Memphis Outshine Golden State Warriors
Memphis dominated the game from start to finish, despite not having star player Ja Morant available. The Grizzlies led 71-59 at halftime and outscored the Warriors in three of the four quarters. Stephen Curry and Klay Thompson, the Warriors’ star players, struggled mightily, with Curry scoring only 16 points and Thompson only 14.
Why did fans Rip Curry and the Warriors
Curry finished with 16 points, eight rebounds, and five assists, but he struggled to make his shots count, making just five of 15 shots from the floor and three of eight shots from deep. Thompson, on the other hand, notched 14 points, one rebound, and one block, but he too struggled, making six of 17 shots from the floor and two of nine shots from beyond the arc.
My powers of deduction suggest if the Warriors can’t win a road game they won’t win a playoff series

I thought the Grizzlies didn’t want to see the Warriors in the playoffs just because of the psychological advantage GS seemed to have after last year and the first two matchups this season.
But GSW is so bad on the road I now actually think a series would favor Memphis.

The Warriors' struggles on the road are incredibly alarming, but I don't think any top-seeded teams are looking forward to playing them in the first round.

After the loss, fans ripped into Curry and the Warriors for their continued road struggles. Fans likened them to the 2022 Buccaneers of the NBA, alluding to the NFL team’s struggles in their initial years before they made a historic comeback in 2022. The Warriors have plenty of issues to work out, but none bigger than their road woes. If they can’t win away from the Chase Center, it will be challenging for them to bulldoze their way through the playoffs like in years past.
I know the Warriors are dealing with injuries and not having their whole roster but I think they probably just need to blow the dynasty as we’ve known it up. Put new pieces around Steph and see what happens.

Can the Warriors Turn Things Around?
If the Golden State Warriors hope to make a deep playoff run this year, they must address their road woes. The team’s current road trip could be the perfect opportunity to turn things around. The Warriors will face the Houston Rockets and Dallas Mavericks before returning home to face the Philadelphia 76ers on March 24.
These upcoming games are an excellent chance for the Warriors to build momentum and regain their confidence on the road. They must play with a sense of urgency and a desire to win. Curry and Thompson must step up their game and lead the team to victory. If they can find a way to win on the road, the Warriors could be a dangerous team come playoff time.
