Currently, Mbappe has joined the French team for their 2024 Euro qualifiers. He captained the team as they beat Ireland 2-0 thanks to goals from Aurélien Tchouaméni and Marcus Thuram. After the victory, Mbappe along with international teammates Ousmane Dembele, Antoine Griezmann, and Dayot Upamecano decided to join in some rugby fun on Friday night.
France, who are hosting the Rugby World Cup, started the tournament with a resounding 27-13 victory against New Zealand. In the packed Stade de France stadium, were the French soccer players to extend their support for their rugby team. The four were clearly confused with the sport, not understanding the complex rules of the game, but tried to show their support for their national rugby team.

Kylian Mbappe in particular was visibly more confused with some of his delayed reactions in the game. As the people around him celebrated, Mbappe had some delay before joining the celebrations as well. It is evident that while he didn’t understand what was going on, he was enthusiastic to cheer for his team.
Mbappe and his teammates even headed to the dressing room after the game to congratulate them on a hard-earned victory.

The French superstar’s late reactions quickly made their way into social media, where it became viral for the hilarious reactions. Even the French Rugby Team’s official page posted the video. A lot of fans made their opinion known with many finding the incident funny.

The Frenchman may be beloved for his hilarious antics, but his standoffs with Paris Saint Germain over a new contract still loom over him. It is widely thought that he will leave the club for free at the end of the season and join Real Madrid.
