Bret “Hitman” Hart is one of the most respectable superstars in the history of WWE. The Hart family also had a high influence in the field of professional wrestling. Superstars like Natalya also come from this family tree.
However, recently, one of the forgotten members of this legendary family had been detained in some serious offense. This arrest seems to leave a bad mark on the overall legacy of the family.
Who is Bret Hart’s nephew Teddy Hart?
Teddy Hart is one of the members of the Hart family. Currently, he is working as an independent wrestler in various promotions. Hart debuted back in July 1995 at Rockyford, Alberta, where Teddy teamed up with his own brother named Matthew. He defeated his own cousins Harry Smith, and T. J. Wilson in a tag team action.
On September 20, 2003, Teddy joined Ring of Honor and he defeated his partner and friend, TJ Wilson. However, the Special K faction confronted Teddy Hart and targeted him for not being a good high-flying superstar in that company. He also made his WWE debut but get eventually released by the Stamford Based Promotion on Oct. 11.
Why was Teddy Hart arrested?
However, recently TMZ reported that the nephew of Bret and Owen Hart got arrested. This arrest was done last week. It was informed that the Titusville Police Department in Florida had found the drugs, including ecstasy and steroids. This was found during the routine traffic which was stopped on Friday.
It was reported that Hart was pulled over around midnight by the Police when he breaks the red light. He was traveling at a very high rate of speed. After the arrest, Police stated that they smelled an overbearing odor of burnt marijuana in the car, and also they saw some unsealed medical marijuana containers. Those containers were with faded labels inside the glove compartment. It was with other things like red pills and a baggie of red powder that tested positive for the presence of MDMA.
After this, the Police of Titusville arrested Teddy Hart and charged him with MDA possession and also for the possession of a controlled substance without any given prescription. Later on, he was released from the custody by Police on Saturday. However, it was not the first incidence of Hart, he already had multiple run-ins with the police over the past few years.
In the initial stages, fans believed that Teddy could be the next wrestling legend from the Hart family; however, now it doesn’t seem like he could be part of major leagues in professional wrestling.
