Recently, the last Stylebender flaunted multiple pictures and videos of his tattoos on his social media accounts as a symbol of his rebirth, which actually shows the seriousness of his upcoming bout against Poatan.
It was observed that he got three new tattoos: the neckpiece is the picture of the Egyptian god Montu, confirmed by his fan; another is the Arabic word “Dragon” above his left eyebrow, like the character “Gaara” from the anime Naruto; and the third remained unidentified due to poor picture quality.

Since Israel Adesanya is fighting for his first #UFC title at #UFC236 in a couple of days, let's talk anime, shall we? More specifically, let's talk Adesanya's adoration of Gaara vs. Rock Lee from the #Naruto series.

Adesanya posted those pictures [of his tattoos] for the fans and asked them to guess the meaning, but till now the 33-year-old hasn’t revealed the actual meanings of his new tattoos.
Love for body art is not new for the Nigerian-born Kiwi star; he got his first tattoo when he was only 20 years old and was highly concerned about his parents’ reaction to it; after that, he never thought twice about getting new ones.
Adesanya has numerous tattoos on his body, and most of them were inspired by his favorite anime characters.
Following his KO loss to Pereira, the 6’4″ New Zealand native announced on his YouTube channel that he had the intention to kill the Brazilian and turn their next fight into a bloodbath.
“I’m excited for this chapter. I like the way the story goes. I made him bloody; I made him bleed. If you can make him bleed, you can kill him. This one, I want to make it a bloodbath like I get up and it’s just red from elbows and just beating him lumpy.”
Israel Adesanya was dethroned by the Brazilian kickboxer Alex Pereira at the main event of UFC 281 at Madison Square Garden in New York last November for the middleweight title bout.
After the first face-off, this deadly duo will face each other later this year for the UFC middleweight title.
