NXT champ slammed Becky Lynch
The current Women’s NXT Champion recently boasted that she is superior to any other superstar who dares to challenge her for the title. Last night, backstage before their upcoming bout next Tuesday, Stratton criticized Lynch, stating that she would be waiting for Becky.
Becky’s announcement, in which she declared her intention to finally become the NXT Women’s Champion after a decade-long wait, turned the NXT title match into the most talked-about event of the week. The following day, on the September 6th episode, Stratton further hyped up the match by describing it as the biggest showdown of her career and praising Lynch as one of the finest competitors ever.
Last night, she appeared in front of the backstage camera with an angry expression and issued a threat to the former WWE champion. She said, “So, Becky, you may be a WrestleMania mainstay, the number one superstar on Raw and SmackDown, and you may have a big-time presence in your world, but I am the center of the universe in mine. Next week, the NXT Women’s Championship isn’t going anywhere. See you next Tuesday, Bi**h.”
