SummerSlam is almost here, and we have perhaps one of the biggest main events in history. The Roman Reigns vs Jey Uso trilogy unfolds at the event. Fans are eagerly waiting to witness the dramatic conclusion in the Bloodline saga that has been going on for the past 3 years.
Roman Reigns is scheduled to defend his Undisputed WWE Universal Championship and his status as “Tribal Chief” against Jey Uso in a “Tribal Combat”. This is potentially the main event of SummerSlam and the match with the most near-perfect buildup.
Former team 3D member proposes “Dusty finish” for Reigns match
As per InsideSport, wrestling legend Bully Ray shared his “Dusty finish” for the match through Busted Open Radio. He quoted, “If there was ever a time for a ‘Dusty finish’ in the WWE, it would be at SummerSlam. Imagine a ‘Dusty finish’ at SummerSlam in which we are meant to know that Jey Uso just won the match. Oh my God. And WWE is not big on the Dusty finish at all, but if this wasn’t just the right place for it.“
He added, “Do I think at the end of the day that Jey Uso is going to become the next WWE Universal Champion? No. Do I think the story that they are telling would lead me to believe that it could happen? Absolutely. And let me tell you something if we get Jey Uso vs. Roman Reigns at SummerSlam, the story that has been told so far and the believability that Jey has already pinned Roman, I guarantee you that those will be some of the most believable false finishes that you have seen in your life.”
It looks like the whole wrestling fraternity is eager to witness the conclusion of one of the hottest storylines in modern times, and everyone is sharing their point of view. The real question is, What will be the actual scenario at the Tribal Combat?
Bloodline story’s newest chapter to unfold at SummerSlam
With SummerSlam approaching and Reigns and Uso getting ready to destroy each other in Tribal Combat for the prestige of holding the title and the status, will we see a new chapter in this epic saga, or will Reigns walk out of the arena in the same way he walks in?
WWE has done a perfect job by having Jey pin Roman at Money in the Bank for the first time in three and a half years to make fans believe that Jey actually got a chance. But things are completely different in the Tribal Combat, as Jimmy is sidelined and Jey has to face Roman alone.
It will be interesting to see if WWE pulls off a major upset by having Jey beat Roman Reigns or if Jey will succumb to him like he did the earlier times they met in a match.
