Trish Stratus is one of the most decorated female superstars in the history of WWE. The former Women’s Champion has returned to WWE and since then she has been engaged in a heated rivalry with Becky Lynch. The involvement of Trish on Monday Night Raw is surely improving the current women’s division.
However, recently former WWE Women’s Champion Melina shared her thoughts and gave an interesting response about the WWE Hall of Famer presence in the company.
Melina on Trish Stratus’ comeback in WWE
While talking on a Youtube Channel named MuscleManMalcolm, the former WWE Superstar Melina revealed her thoughts about the return of Stratus back in WWE. She said:
“Only certain personality types or the company’s chosen people are allowed to do that because we could bring back a Jazz… and they are the ones who enhanced Trish’s career. So there are people who made Trish look good… There are people who enhanced her, who taught her that, who carried her through matches, they need their credit. If only we could bring them back, but we don’t wanna bring them back because we only have the people we choose.”

The response of Melina seems to be an interesting one as she mentioned how Trish was actually got carried by the other talent during her matches. Even she pointed out the difference in how the company only those people whom they choose rather than those who actually made Trish looks good in her matches.
Trish Stratus vs Becky Lynch rivalry explained
The rivalry between the WWE Hall of Famer & Becky Lynch started with the return of Lita. Both Lita & Becky Lynch had formed a tag team and also became the Women’s World Tag Team Champions. However, during their feud with Damage CTRL, Lita got injured, and hence Becky Lynch needs a tag partner to defend those titles against Liv Morgan & Raquel Rodriguez on the main event of WWE RAW on April 12, 2023.
Trish joined Lynch as the replacement for Lita in the Championship match but it ultimately ended by losing those tag team titles. However, after the loss, Trish Stratus turned heel and attack Becky Lynch.
At Night of Champions 2023, they both wrestled in a singles bout but to help Trish Zoey Starks made her debut and saved Trish from the match. Now the upcoming premium live event is SummerSlam 2023 where both the superstars are set to face each other for maybe the final time.
