Fortnite Season 5 is almost over, and the new season will be coming up on March 9 so everyone is buzzing about what’s coming up next! There have been rumours for ages that Chapter 5 Season 2 might be all about Greek gods and myths, like Zeus and the Underworld.
Gamers who dig deep into the game files and those who are data miners found some cool stuff after the latest update! These leaks seem to almost confirm that Season 2 will be Greek-themed.
Fortnite teases next season with massive Pandora’s box
Fortnite just got a crazy update, where a giant hand holding a massive box with chains has popped up on the map. It looks a bit like something out of a storybook, and players are trying to figure out what it is. Some players are even shooting at the box to see if they can break the chains.
The teaser appeared that the island started shaking and cracks appeared everywhere. Now, there’s a giant hand holding a special box on the map. Some strange things are happening around the hand too, like ghosts, storms, and even more shaking.
The upcoming tactical shotgun is going to have six bullets and a reload time of around 4.2 to 3.6 seconds, with high damage output. Even though the chains were broken and the giant box fell to the ground, it just unleashed a massive tornado! You can see what it looked like in the video below:
In ancient Greek mythology, there’s a jar called Pandora’s Box, and it appears in a poem called “Works and Days.” A god named Zeus gives the box to Pandora but with a big warning: don’t open it. Well, curiosity can be a powerful thing, and Pandora just couldn’t resist taking a look. By opening the jar, she invited a bunch of bad stuff, like sickness, into the world.
Fortnite’s new season is starting in a way that reminds us of a previous event, Pandora, who opened a box with trouble. It seems like Fortnite players might be in a similar situation in the new season, facing the consequences in Chapter 5 Season 2.
People have been talking about a Greek mythology season for months, and now it looks like it’s finally happening. This isn’t surprising since some parts of Fortnite already have Greek names like Athena, Artemis, and Apollo; even the current island is called Helios.
The new season starts on March 8th. Keep an eye out for when the game will be down for updates so you can jump in and see what’s new in the game.
Is Fortnite returning the building to Zero Build mode?
Fortnite, the ever-evolving battle royale, has surprised players with a dramatic twist by building it in the Zero Build mode. This unexpected move follows the introduction of the no-build mode in Chapter 3, which catered to players who preferred a focus on shooting and strategic movement over building elaborate structures.
The return of buildings in Zero Build mode is tied to the recently unveiled Pandora’s Box, a massive, flaming structure that has emerged on the map. Players can activate building within this mode by jumping into a vortex emanating from the box. This twist adds a new layer of complexity to the previously build-free environment, requiring players to adapt their strategies and potentially re-learn the art of construction.
