Fox sells out all 57 Super Bowl Ad spot, some 30-second commercials fetches record $7M

FOX’s ad inventory for Super Bowl 57 is completely sold out, and the going rate for a 30-second commercial in the second slot is astronomical.

As per Dade Hayes of Deadline, the cost of a 30-second advertisement during Super Bowl 57 “commissioned more than $7 million for 30 seconds of airwaves, but on average pricing pulled in at between $6 million and $7 million.”

The Super Bowl 57 matchup will feature the Kansas City Chiefs and the Philadelphia Eagles, the respective conference champions. Both the Eagles and the Chiefs are going for historic status by aiming to win back-to-back Super Bowls.

MVP nominees include Patrick Mahomes of the Chiefs, Jalen Hurts of the Eagles, Joe Burrow of the Bengals, Josh Allen of the Bills, and Justin Jefferson, a wide receiver for the Vikings.

Kevin Burkhardt, the voice of the NFL on FOX Sports, and Greg Olsen, an analyst for the network, will be calling their first Super Bowl together, with sideline reporter Erin Andrews providing additional color.

Burkhardt and Olsen are now the top NFL team for FOX after Joe Buck and Troy Aikman departed the network last year to host “Monday Night Football” on ESPN.

It’s been three years since FOX broadcast the Super Bowl when the Chiefs won 31-20 against the 49ers. Last year’s Super Bowl was between Sean McVay’s Los Angeles Rams and Bengals, and NBC broadcast it. The Rams won, 23-20.

The 57th Super Bowl will be played in Glendale, Arizona, at State Farm Stadium, which is the regular season home of the NFL’s Arizona Cardinals. Super Bowls 42 (New York Giants vs. New England Patriots) and 49 were also played there (Patriots vs. Seattle Seahawks).
