“For (if I win), definitely. (If he beats me), that’s what I don’t know. We will see how it goes. That’s why I have to win this fight. I have to do everything to get that rematch.”
Despite the outcome of his match against 34-year-old Tyson Fury, 36-year-old Francis confirmed that he will make a return to MMA competition.
Earlier this year, he signed a multifight contract with PFL (Professional Fighters League) and is expected to make his debut in 2024. Ngannou emphasized that his commitment to PFL remains unchanged, and if he achieves victory against Fury. It would be following his participation in the PFL cage.

The match will be held “in a regulation boxing ring under the standard boxing rules.” Ngannou’s last fight took place in January 2022. Where he successfully defended his heavyweight title with a unanimous-decision victory over Ciryl Gane at UFC 270.
After that fight, he underwent knee surgery, and his UFC contract expired in January of the current year.
