Future Jake Paul opponent Viddal Riley claims KSI’s boxing has declined since his first fight with Joe Weller

Vidal Riley is not a new name in the professional boxing, as the rapper turned boxer has already secured 10 victories in his boxing career. The current English cruiserweight champion was once the coach or trainer for the YouTuber KSI.

KSI was new to boxing when Viddal Riley taught some skills to the 30-year-old English rapper. Riley, after becoming the champion, can now be the next target for Jake Paul after he secured a dominating victory against André August to step foot in a professional boxing championship scenario.

Viddal Riley claims that KSI’s boxing ability has declined

26-year-old Riley is making a statement against his own past student or training partner. Viddal Riley doesn’t have faith in KSI after he fought against Joe Weller, giving full credit to Jake Paul if they fight in a match-up.

The internet sensation believes JJ’s performance has declined since he fought Joe Weller. Some experts are suggesting scheduling KSI vs. Jake Paul as early as possible on one side, but the cruiserweight champion believes it is not worth scheduling that fight.

On his YouTube channel, Viddal broke down the performance of KSI. Riley first praised the 30-year-old’s performance against Weller.

“His best performance is against Joe Weller, where he uses the jab and the space while Well is trying to cut him down. He’s throwing hooks around the side of Weller’s guard; he’s attacking head and body; it’s the most you’ve ever seen.”

Later, he reminded the viewers that it was when he was coaching KSI, and after that, his performance declined. “JJ uses the most fundamental punching boxing, which is a jab, and that was when he was closer to when he first started and I was coaching him to fight Weller.”

He encouraged that boxer’s ability and said that the rapper-turned-boxer’s prowess has improved but is not good enough for professional boxing. “Since then, there has been a decline in skill shown; he’s got faster, more powerful, more athletic, more confident, but I haven’t seen an improvement in boxing ability. And for that reason, I’m going to give JJ an IQ rating of three. I think it’s fair to argue with me.”

Later, Viddal Riley found himself praising KSI’s biggest rival and potential opponent in the future for his improvement and career path.

Viddal Riley claims Jake Paul is better than KSI

Viddal Ethan Danso Riley claimed Jake Paul is much better than KSI in boxing now on in his YouTube breakdown analysis. Former UFC champion Demetrious Johnson already picked KSI over Jake Paul to be his opponent in boxing, but the English cruiserweight champion has a completely opposite take on it.

The English rapper praised the power, technique, and timing of Paul and how he mixes all things up to knockout his opponent. Viddal Riley claimed Jake Paul is better than KSI.

Jake is now the 134th-ranked professional boxer in the world, and Riley is the 79th-ranked boxer. In one of Paul’s interviews with the media, he also voiced loving the idea of fighting in the boxing ring. 26-year-old said, “For sure, that can happen. That would be interesting, and he has a name and a profile, which excites me for sure. As I go down this path, I’m going to continue to challenge myself and grow and grow and grow, and some of those names start popping into the equation.”

The Youtuber-turned-boxer also has his eyes on every professional better than his career, with 8 wins already to his name. On the other hand, Viddal Riley has had no losses so far, with a 10-0 record to his name.
