George Foreman is once again embroiled in the sexual assault controversy. The accusers this time demand that the heavyweight legend undergo lie detector tests.
Foreman was without a doubt one of the most formidable boxers in the 1970s. Gwen Hunter and Denise Shipes, Big George’s two accusers, allege that he sexually assaulted them while the two-time heavyweight world champion was experiencing his prime period in the ring.

What does George Foreman have to say about the sexual assault allegations?
The Olympic gold medallist boxer has stood firm throughout the investigative process. Big George addressed the issue and disputed all of the charges in a formal statement last year.
“The pride I take in my reputation means as much to me as my sports accomplishments, and I will not be intimidated by baseless threats and lies. I am, and always will be, guided by my faith and trust in God.” said Foreman.
'Let the other guy have whatever he wants before the fight. Once the bell rings he's gonna be disappointed anyway.”

Hunter and Denise, the accusers, were apparently teenagers in the 1970s when they were physically abused by the heavyweight icon. According to their lawyer, the two women had already passed one of the world’s top polygraph examinations. The accusers are now challenging Foreman to do the same and confess guilt.
The two women brought up the subject for the first time in January of last year, which is when the complaints initially surfaced. George claims that the accusations are completely baseless and that the women are just making them because they each want $12.5 million from him. The native Texan absolutely and vehemently refutes these accusations.
“I will work with my lawyers to fully and truthfully expose my accusers’ schemes and defend myself in court. I don’t pick fights, but I don’t run away from them either.” Foreman added.
#OnThisDay in 1992, "Big" George Foreman scored a rough 10 round majority decision over Alex Stewart in Las Vegas, Nevada. Foreman knocked Stewart, a big underdog, down early, but absorbed a beating late in the fight.
