The undefeated American boxer Gervonta Davis secured a ninth-round technical knockout victory over Hector Garcia on January 7 at the Capital One Arena in Washington, but YouTuber turned boxer Jake Paul is skeptical of Tank’s fighting abilities.
Last Sunday, the former Disney star tweeted that in the upcoming bout, Davis will taste his first defeat against Ryan Garcia, which will take place on April 15, 2023, in Paradise, Nevada.

It was not well received by the 28-year-old fighter; in the post-fight press conference, the current WBA (regular) lightweight titleholder referred to Jake Paul as “Clown” and his upcoming opponent as “a baby clown”.
“Jake Paul is a clown and Ryan is a baby clown. Tell him to get ready, that’s what they do they try to talk off. They like to get fame off other people’s history.”
Following that remark, Ryan Garcia (23-0, 19 KOs) took to Twitter to advise and promise that there will be no trash-talking before the fight, as well as to confirm the fight date.

However, the victory against Hector Garcia will surely boost the confidence of Davis, as a lot happened during the last week of 2022. The 28-0, 26 KOs record holder got arrested and spent one night in jail on the charge of domestic battery for physically hurting a woman in front of her daughter.
But the next day he was released, and the honorable judge issued a “No Contact” order with the victim. After that incident, many boxing enthusiasts thought that Tank might lose the January 7 fight, but in spite of a slow start, he won in style.
As one of the fighters will end their undefeated run, the fight between Gervonta Davis and Ryan Garcia will be thrilling to watch.
